The Syracuse Salt Pincher

When we opened the first store in the United States in 1991, it was in the Pyramid Mall in Syracuse, New York State.

Syracuse is in upstate New York, some 200 miles from New York City.

We designed a new character for the store - The Syracuse Salt Pincher.

Syacuse had been home to Salt mines in its early history, hence the name salt Pincher.

It was equally popular in Australia and the US.
