Around the campfire at night, I would read until my eyes rolled off the pages (a signal for sleep)... learnt very quickly, never to leave books out overnight!

While I slept, small worms slid in between the pages... Licked the letters off the paper.

Now I can't lend the books to children anymore - certain letters removed from certain words created ... shall we say ... naughty words!

Our Bookwrm Letter Licker is one of the favourites with the children and great to encourage their interest in books and if made correctly they can even jump out of a closed book and give everyone a huge fright.
