Once upon an early morning, oodles of early mornings ago, a small Puggle was puggling along through the bush to his front door which was at the base of the 23rd Wattle Free past Ferntree Gully. Early morning settlers were chasing the Puggle when his foot slopped on a wet gun leaf and he puggled head over peas down a hill straight into a billabong pond (A big Puggle Puddle).
He tried to Puggle paddle but but was so full of split peas that he sank to the bottom.
Weeds were tickling his toes and his head became caught up in bits of water lily and straw, a piece of which stuck up his nose... was this the end?......
